Is there any issue with updating the included Font Awesome with the latest version (4.5.0) ?
You can update font files with new ones. It will not break anything in the Webix library.
We will update version of Font Awesome, included in the package, in the next official build.
Can Webix please enable excluding font-awesome from the automatic loading? FA keeps getting left behind without updates, and it’s just bad strategy to couple the two libraries this tightly. For example, FA is now at v4.6.3, and Webix Edge loads the “edge” FA from CDN at v4.3.0: http://cdn.webix.com/edge/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff?v=4.3.0

Now that FA 5 is out, and I have a pro license for it, I would like to add it to Webix. Maksim previously you mentioned “You can update the font files with new ones”. Can you be more specific as to which files? It looks like FA has changed their file format and structure.

The current solution is not final and has few unnecessary limitations, we plan to fully resolve it in the next update.
