Wondering if there’s any roadmap details you can share? Features, improvements, general evolution, that kind of stuff.

The short term plans:

  • April 2013 - Webix 1.7 - visual updates
  • May 2013 - Webix 1.8 - responsive layouts ( auto reconfiguration of layouts for different screen sizes )

And as long term plans, we have Webix 2.0, it will have visual UI designer.

It seems like 1.8 is delayed a bit. Will it be coming out soon or will you skip to 2.0?

We plan to have it on September 2014. It is a major update, that will include visual editing tools and hopefully some other major improvements.

Meanwhile, we will continue to release new builds each month with minor updates.
