Webix examples as snippets

Hello,

I would like to suggest and discuss ( that’s what a forum is for, right? ;D ) the idea of putting Webix examples as code snippets.

Sometimes I find a code example and I would like to easily change to see if it fits my needs. Of course, since we’ve downloaded Webix, we have all the examples available on our computer, but it’s not the same as editing it online and it’s also not as easy to share.

This example codebase (if it’s not already) could be in a public github repository (as Webix docs is) so the community can help with moving these examples as well as creating new ones.

I personally already helped improve docs with pull requests and I think the same can be done with examples.

So, what are you thoughts about this?

Hi all,

I’m glad to announce that all references in the documentation were changed from sample pages to snippets, so you can easily test, modify and share them.

Samples as separate pages are still available

• in the corresponding repo and via API reference links on components’ pages;
• in Webix package (‘samples’ folder).

Very nice to hear that @Listopad.

This makes finding the correct functions in the docs way easier.
