How can a custom Kanban form contain the attachments functionality - and show images?

edited January 28 in Technical questions

We have to build custom forms for our Kanban project.

We'd like to have solutions for these two problems:
1) optionally use the attachments like on default form in custom form
2a) show a picture from a URL stored in the field of the Kanban item as a <img...> tag in the custom form, no download/upload necessary
2b) show a preview picture from a URL stored as an attachment to the Kanban item as a <img...> tag in the custom form, no download/upload necessary

After searching a while and not finding the solution, could you please assist?

  • Hello,

To embed the same UI for uploading as the default editor does, you need to provide the Kanbanuploader view and the linked Dataview to display the uploaded files.

To show a picture stored as a URL, you can use a Label view with the corresponding template. How does it differ from a "preview picture"?

Please, check the following snippet: https://snippet.webix.com/04mmag75
