Under 7.4, the vertical text in the header was aligned to the left. Under 8.0 it seems to ignore the rowspan and be left aligned within the top row. How can I align the vertical text all the way to the bottom of the header as it was in 7.4?

I modified one of your snippets, meant to demonstrate rowspan and colspan, to add some text in the header column using rowspan. The text is always confined to the top row, despite the rowspan. Under 7.4, this worked.
Seems like a bug with the handling of vertical header text with rowspan.
