The js error while selecting empty space or not loaded yet rows will be fixed in the next build.
Still , it is not possible to select not loaded yet rows. If somehow you will be able to start block selection at top of datatable and jump to end of datatable after that then blockselection will not work, as data between start and end of selection is still not loaded. ( it will not throw js error though, just will result in empty selection )
