What is the best way to create a collapsable side menu?

I was thinking to separate the div for each element : header, side, menu and header.
If the is another good way, please let me know.

We are working on such a demo. “Menu” can be implemented as “rows” Layout that contains Template, Search input and Tree. This “menu” is a part of “cols” Layout. And it is possible to change menu width on icon click.
