Copy-Paste data From DataTable to excel

Hi Webix Team,

How to copy paste datatable data to excel?

If I am copy-pasting the data into excel headers are showimg properly but data is getting pasted in single column.

Hi,

Can you please specify a step-by-step way to represent this issue and versions of Webix/Excel?
As far as I can see, copying data from this snippet to Excel works OK

Copying data by cntrl + c and then pasting into excel by ctrl + v . Webix version is of webix snippet and excel is 2007.

Which excel version are you using?

Tested on Excel 2007 and it works OK.
Please check if the cell editor in Excel is active at the moment when you paste the data - in such case, it will be pasted to the opened cell.

By using selection of datatable data we can paste as it is into excel. But how to select data and headers at a time and paste it into excel?
Because now first I have to copy headers and then data.

This is the only way to copy the data properly to Excel

Unfortunately, there’s no way to do so. The point is that datatable headers are built on tr/td tags and will be copied to the Excel in a different way.
div-based cells cannot be copied as a regular text (by the cursor drag & select) and therefore has a separate feature.
