XML data driver - how to skip parent node?

For example we have XML like that:

<data>
    <book value='The Shawshank Redemption' open='1'>
       <parts>
         <part value='part1'>
             <page>Page 15</page>
             <page>Page 16</page>
          </part>
         <part value='part2'></part>
        </parts>
    </book>
</data>

Is it possible to override XML driver to skip “parts” tag having in treetable hierarchy of “book” \ “part” \ “page” without “parts”?

Hello @m07 ,

Yes, you can skip the <parts> wrapper by creating a custom XML driver that redefines the child property. The child property can be a function that dynamically returns different child collections depending on the current nesting level ($level ).

Thank you very much! It’s exactly what I need.
