I am unable to delete a line break (br) within the rich text editor. If I try to remove it by clicking backspace on the same line as the line break, the cursor goes to the row above and deletes a letter from that line. If I try to remove it by clicking backspace on the beginning of the next line (place cursor before the “test” text), the editor completely freezes (I suspect it’s an infinite rendering loop).
Are there any possible workarounds for this issue? Maybe wrapping “br” tags in paragraphs the same way as “spans” should be wrapped for the time being? (Rich text undefined error on single "div" or "span")
The 1st described issue (when a cursor is on the same line as br tag) will be fixed together with single spans and divs error.
However, editor freezing is a distinct issue and will be investigated separately. Thank you for letting us know. We will notify you about both issues resolving.
For now, you could wrap you <br> tags into <p> tags (however, please, note that it resolves only the first issue but not freezing) or you could use only <p> tags to show like breaks: Code Snippet .
